Thanks, Mark. I learned one thing: never again will I reveal my expected publication date! Travel, family, work, and complicated plotting (requiring substantial historical research) put me months beyond that original target..
Yes, with my second novel, I included a blurb about my next novel’s expected publication date. I think I’m more than a year past that date and still haven’t finished the damn thing. Don’t promise something like that unless the product is finished. 😉
I’m still in the middle of the final edits of a book I wrote nearly a year and a half ago. Glad to hear the moment is near. 🙂
